Historically women have been defined as the man's other. Women tend to think of themselves as an “object” rather than a “subject”. However, women today should think back to the many ancient cultures that had female gods such as the Egyptians or the Greeks. Women have been gifted with the amazing ability to bare life. We are creators of life. Sounds godly to me. Often time women forget the power of our womb, its linked to the moon the rhythm of our hips is in sync with the universe and thus we are called to keep the rhythm of things on earth. Women have this calling deep in them to be nurturers to help things to flourish so much so that we feel we can change a person by showing them the power of love. Sometimes the person we "teach how to love" moves on and loves someone else leaving a woman to feel burnt out, used, neglected. But you are not a steppingstone. You are a monolith. In this way women should seek not to teach someone how to love or be love but rather remind yourself that love is not tangible nor is it a possession love is free and it flows through our veins effortless so the person who you are with should show you love, respect, and feel inspired by you at first interaction. Demand the energy you seek by putting out that type of energy. Never settle. Our grandparents settled because they had to. This is the 21st century we have to world at our fingertips. We must go out and explore the earth until we meet the person who makes us feel fertile both literally and symbolically, someone who awakens the god in us-that female energy whom posses the power to see, heal, and feel. As the subject, we must shape the object of our desires and consciously move through time in efforts to grow and live. As humans we are attracted to things full of life, full of energy. Our insecurities, bad attitudes, messy appearance, cluttered rooms, over-caked makeup, weaved up hair, plastic surgery, mis-education dims our light and deadens our divine spirit. We must find truth through experience. Self -discovery will influence our behavior so that we can flourish.
