After letting go of expectation, after I stopped being moved by opposition, I was able to listen. Listen to my higher self. In my time listening I decided to quit my job and invest time in myself. I began to focus. I rediscovered my ability to heal myself. I changed my thinking and began to see my life in slow motion as oppose to rushing to the next thing. I have found that there is great wealth in being able to do what you love and stand in your innate creative power.
For hundreds of years people of color have been colonized and trained to think that they must give away their most precious asset, their time, in order to be worthy or valuable. Your time is yours. Being mindful of what you exchange for your time will help you to be intentional with how you use it. Money is energy. That creative energy that flows through you is abundance. You are not in lack. "Limitations" have no control over your creative genius. Growing up not having money perpetually flowing into my accounts made me become resourceful. I have developed the tools of a problem solver. I have become an excellent cook because I have learned to make gourmet meals out of a seemingly empty fridge. Being resourceful means researching, looking around, listening, and asking for help. Being resourceful shapes you into a person who has humility. When you develop the tools to problem solve you have all you need within you to succeed.
I am a dreamer. It is a beautiful thing to trust your intuition and not take no for an answer. If you want something badly enough then you go after it. You figure out a way. The only things between your dreams and reality is action. To manifest your dreams in real time it is important to develop a spiritual practice. This is a practice of asking yourself what you want. Trusting that you are worthy. And daring to pursue it by any means necessary. While at the same time following your intuition and being grateful off all the things in your life that illuminate your path. In this practice you create good habits. Habits that feed your spirit and make you feel good. Habits that generate tangible evidence of your dreams. To keep up with this practice it is important to master your mind. Trust your instinct rather than listening to the doubtful/fearful/anxious voice in your head. When you trust your intuition you are able to align with your higher self. Who is your higher self calling you to be? What does freedom mean to you? To heal, to be healed, to be healing. To flourish.
Once you begin to walk on this path of abundance (trusting that you are enough-you have all that you need to go where you want to go) you are able to breathe and dream with ease. Be accepting of change, it is how you grow. You are a Creator. Be mindful of what you create daily. As you wake up to the world move with intention so that you may live the life you have envisioned for yourself. Let go of what is no longer serving you. Lay those burdens down. Feel the pressure lift from your heart so that you may walk on a path of light. This is also a path of love and trust. Action is the answer. Radical, unapologetic, non-negotiable. Stay true to your calling, do not let go of your higher self. You must recommit to yourself everyday. You are already flourishing!
